So you're thinking about buying a home? Well you've come to the right place. I've got a wealth of resources ranging from information on what not to do before buying a home to what kind of offers you should make. Or, if you're confident that you know all you need to know about buying, you can skip all the information and go straight to looking at properties.

Tips for Buyers
Do you know the ins and outs of the business cycle and why it's not a good idea to try to "time the market"? Or what about how home improvements and market conditions should affect your offer? This helpful page answers most (if not all) of the questions you might have regarding the home buying process.

Start Your Search for Your New Home
If you want to jump right in and look for your future home, here are the links to do it. Don't forget to bookmark or make a mental note of the "Tips for Buyers" page, since questions will undoubtedly arise during your search.
  • Featured Homes - Here are some homes I'm helping my clients sell. I'm very familiar with these homes, and can help you with any questions you have about them better I could with other homes. However, there may not be a wide selection, so if you don't find something you like here, use the "Search for Homes" link and if anything catches your eye, let me know and I'd be more than happy to help you with it. My goal is to find you the best home at the best price.
  • Open Houses - If you've got some free time on the weekends, I hold houses open fairly often, and you can always look at this page and see which houses are open on which days and times.
  • Search for Homes - As I said, if nothing caught your fancy in my Featured Homes, you can click through to this page to search for all homes for sale in your preferred area. When you find some that you like, get in touch with me and I can help with the next step.
  • Dream Home Finder - If you have limited time or all of this is confusing to you, that's not a problem. Use my Dream Home Finder, enter some specifics about the house you're looking for (such as number of bedrooms, square footage, price, etc), and I'll run a search for you and present you with the homes I think will suit you best.
Loans and Mortgages
Found some homes you're interested in, but not sure how much you can actually afford? Maybe you are more interested in paying your mortgage off as quickly as possible and want to find some tips on how to do this. Flip through the following helpful sources and see if they answer your questions. If they don't, please contact me and I can help.
  • Interest Rates - This page will give you a snapshot of what types of interest rates are available in today's market. If all the numbers, symbols and acronyms start to hurt your head, don't worry! Give me a call at (916) 967-0716 and I can explain everything to you.
  • Mortgage Calculator - If you think you'll be a budgeting wizard and be able to overpay your mortgage payment each month, you can use this calculator to see how much money you can save by paying off your mortage faster.
Local Partners
Finally, if we've finished buying the home and escrow has closed, it's time to start making all those little improvements that will turn that new house into your new home. Since I've been in the real estate business for so many years, I've built up a network of great and trustworthy people for nearly every task. These are the folks I use on a regular basis who I know will get the job done and do it well. They don't give me kickbacks for recommending them, but they all know that if they don't do great work for my clients, they won't keep getting my business. Click through to the Local Partners page for the best handymen, plumbers, carpet cleaners, landscapers, and many more.
